Design Choices

Discovering all of the templates in blogger can be quite fun, especially since they offer such a variety of images to choose from. These can from that can really set the tone for your blog. I choose a red template because if you know me, you know that red is my absolute favorite color in the world. However, the red I love is not loud and painful; it is bold but subtle. This red wants you to know that it's there, but it doesn't want you to cringe every time you see it. I also loved the texture of this template because it gives you a sense of something you can feel, or something that is real. This wall, though digital, will be where I will "write" my ideas or any epiphanies I have about the digital media through out the semester. The script font of my blog title is away for me to reiterate the feeling of writing on this mode the same way I would write on journal. I would prefer to use this font for the body of my posts as well, but I take into account that my readers may find this font to be difficult to read. These design choices create a blog that not only will appeal to my audience but also stays true to who I am and want to be perceived by my readers.
